Document Description
The project proposes to realign Arroyo Seco Creek to create more useable space for development and to restore degraded creek habitat. The Creek was previously channelized to act as a detention basin, to accommodate development. The design incorporates pool habitat and a low flow channel meander. Arroyo Seco Creek, located in Section 23, Township 11 South, Range 2 West. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-0237 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Don Smith, Conopco, Inc.
