The purpose of this project is to provide water for recreation, fire protection, irrigation, heat control, and frost protection of 200 acres of vineyard. The applicants seek an appropriative water right to store 165 acre-feet and directly divert 7 cubic feet per second of water from Unnamed Stream tributary to East Fork Russian River. The project is located approximately three miles southeast of the community of Potter Valley in Mendocino County.
