Document Description
The proposed new school will occupy a total of eight acres and will either be an elementary school or a middle school; this has not been determined by the WCCUSD at this time. The total school population will be about 600 students; typical school buildings and uses will include classrooms, administrative offices, playgrounds, library, multi-purpose rooms, cafeteria, gymnasium, parking (for teachers and staff, visitors), internal circulation roads, and landscaping. The buildings (with the exception of the cafeteria and/or the gymnasium) will be one-story, wood, concrete and/or masonry block frame buildings. The cafeteria and/or the gymnasium will be equivalent to a height of a two-story structure (high ceiling), but designed to comply with the zoning code.
