Document Description
The applicant is requesting a water right to divert up to 25 acre-feet of water to storage in the existing Veeder Summit Reservoir (25-acre-foot capacity). The water is diverted at the reservoir site (POD#1) and from Redwood Creek (POD#2). At POD#2 the water is diverted via a 300 gallon-per-minute below grade sump pump (run by a portable generator) and transported through approximately 3,500 feet of buried 4-inch diameter pipe to the reservoir. All diversion and storage facilities were completed and first put to use in 1984. No additional construction is planned except for completion of the drip irrigation system for the vineyard.
