Document Description
The proposed project involves construction of a 31,274 gross square foot two-story facility which includes eight science labs, sixteen faculty offices, and a 100-seat lecture hall with specialty instructional display tailored for science curriculums. The facility accommodates a teaching capacity of 323 full time equivalent students. This project will be the first phase of a multi-phase future science complex. The design consists of steel frame type 2 construction with plaster finish on exterior walls, and mission style two piece red tile roofs, matching the mission style architecture of the existing campus buildings. The project will result in the demolition of the swimming pool and several small garages.
