Document Description
The Exchange Contractors proposes to make available to the Bureau of Reclamation and/or Central Valley Project agricultural service contractors up to a maximum of 84,000 acre feet of additional water. The water would come from tailwater recovery (75%), conservation (10%). and groundwater (16%). The recovered water would be used within the Exchange Contractors service area, and CVP water from the Delt-Mandota Canal would be delivered to the refugees or to west side agriculture. The water would be available annually, 2000-2004, but is contingent upon 100 percent allocation pursuant to their Contract with the Bureau of Reclamation.
