The BPM property covers approximately 80 acres that is currently developed with a total of 1,043,142 square feet of gross leasable floor are (GLA). The mall is divided into three levels; the lower ground level, the upper ground level and the mezzanine level.
Document Description
The applicant, Festival Companies, has established that the primary goal of the proposed project is to develop and further enhance and diversify the economic viability of the Buena Park Mall. Additionally, the following objectives are intended to be realized from the project: Transition the vacant portions of the BPM into a productive mix of entertainment, restaurant and specialty/retail uses: enhance the economic viability of the BPM by creating a synergetic relationship between existing and new BPM uses; create a new mix of uses that capitalizes on the site's location in proximity to surrounding tourist facilities; and increase economic benefits to the City of Buena Park through increased sales tax generation and job creation.
