The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0014-R6 [Revision 2], pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. The Lake Mathews and Cajalco Creek Dam and Detention Basins Long-term Routine Maintenance project includes the long-term, ongoing routine maintenance of ten (10) existing facilities at Lake Mathews, including: the Cajalco Creek Dam and Detention Basin, Lake Mathews Sediment Basins 1-4, underdrain, North and South spillways, and two weirs (Weirs 1 and 2).
