The project involves the improving of a 1.2 mile stretch of Forester Creek between Mission Gorge Road and Prospect Avenue to allow the creek to carry to 100 year flood flow. The creek presently carries the 10 year flood. Several of the alternatives also include the extension of Olive Lane south, crossing the creek to intersect with Prospect Avenue at Argent Street.
