Document Description
The project implements mitigation planting at the Cottonwood Creek Mitigation Site at Cottonwood Creek and I-5, and at Millers Curve on Sha 44. The mitigation site at Cottonwood Creek offsets impacts to the valley elderberry longhorn beetle, riparian habitat, and wetlands. The site will be augmented with raparian and elderberry plantings and managed in perpetuity for habitat purposes. New permanent easements will be acquired for access to the site. Oak tree habitat will be planted on Millers Curve.
