Document Description
The proposed project would remodel the existing Activity Center of the Holderman Hospital at the California Department of Veterans Affairs' Yountville Veterans Home. The Holderman Activity Center is situated in the space that was the original dining room of Holderman Hospital. The dining room is located in front of the main kitchen accessed from the second floor of Wing E. This original dining room has an open space design with interior columns connecting to interior ceiling beans which support a vaulted ceiling of acoustic plaster. The room also has two historic water fountains with ceramic tile work that were part of the original construction.
