Document Description
The proposed project will rehabilitate and upgrade the Lincoln Theater. The project will modernize and upgrade performing areas of the theater with new lighting, acoustical equipment, a mechanical lift and an enlarged stage apron. Audience amenities will include regrading of the theater floor to improve sight lines, installation of new seating and the addition of a balcony. The existing lobby will be demolished and replaced with an enlarged lobby/gallery that opens onto a new patio and fountain at the theater entrance. Restrooms will be constructed on the north side of the existing building, and new heating, ventilation and air conditioning will be installed throughout. The building will be seismically strengthened as a part of a previously approved project that will be carried out simultaneous with the theater renovation. Site improvements include the addition of the entry patio and fountain and landscape enhancement with tree plantings around the patio and across the front facade of the theater.
