Various Residential, Commercial, and Industrial uses located within the town of Salida. To the north, west and east are intensively farmed agricultural areas. To the south west of Highway 99 is farmland, while the City of Modesto abuts the southeast.
Document Description
This is an update of the Salida Community Plan, a visionary non-entitlement document contained within the Stanislaus County General Plan. It was developed with extensive public input to provide a possible scenario for future development. The Community Plan would be used as a benchmark against which to measure development proposals as they relate to the desire of the community. Non-binding designations include Low Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, Medium High Density Residential, Industrial, and Commercial. The plan attempts to envision the town over a 5-15 year time frame.
