Document Description
The State's wildlife conservation policy contains, among other things, an objective of providing sport hunting use of selected species where such use is consistent with sustainable wildlife populations. The project being considered is a proposal to continue to implement hunting as an element of bighorn sheep management. The objectives of the proposal are to maintain viable bighorn sheep populations and to provide public sport hunting opportunities through regulated harvest.
