Document Description
To create an "Urban Reserve" designation for certain areas totaling 5,332 acres (approximately) within the Planning Area of the City of Turlock's adopted General Plan. The Urban reserve classification is proposed to establish and identify land reserved for future unspecified urban uses. Classification of property as "Urban Reserve" will not convey any land use entitlement to the subject property. Prior to urban uses and /or development being permitted on land classified Urban Reserve, the property will be subject to the City of Turlock's Master Plan requirements. Furthermore a General Plan amendment and annexation (as appropriate) will be required for any development proposed in the Urban Reserve. The agricultural use of property classified Urban reserve shall be considered transitional, meaning that agricultural uses eventually could be replaced by permanent urban development Public facilities and recreation facilities may also be located on land classified Urban Reserve.
