Document Description
Proposal to construct a winery, with a maximum production of 100,000 gallons of wine per year, within the Redwood Meadows Ranch 12 lot residential community. The physical improvements will consist of three structures: a 15,000 square foot winery building which will also be used for special events (weddings, corporate retreats, dinners, etc.). an 1800 square foot tasting building, and an 886 square foot office. The project also includes a vineyard. olive grove, road improvements, installation of two 20,000 gallon water tanks, installation of parking for 85 vehicles, and approximately 2400 cubic yards of earthwork. Also proposed are: up to twelve special events per year with up to 195 people, up to 24 events with up to 150 people, and up to 24 events with up to 100 people. Wine tasting will be open to the public. The project will be served by an existing well. This project which has previously been heard by the Environmental Coordinator and circulated for public comment, is returned to the agenda due to new information generated during the comment period. The project requires approval of a Coastal Permit, Grading Permit, Grading Permit, and Commercial Development Permit.
