The plan outlines strategies for measuring, enhancing, and protecting water quality and increasing public stewardship and awareness of Laguna Creek and its tributaries in compliance with the Alemeda Countywide Clean Water Program. Proposed basinwide projects include a water quality monitoring program; stewardship activities such as creek cleanups, tree planting, storm drain stenciling, and storm drain inler modifications. Projects that are proposed along specific channel reaches include creekbed stabilization / erosion control, channel modification for water quality and flood control improvements, wetland enhancement, creation of sediment and detention basin, and public access trails.
