Document Description
The San Dieguito Reservoir Rehabilitaiton and Flume Replacement projects are two inter-related but independent projects proposed by the Santa Fe Irrigation District and San Dieguito Water District. The two primary elements of the Reservoir Rehabilitation Project consist of dredging to restore the Reservoir's original capacity and creation of new wetland areas to compensate for wetland impacts as well as provide for natural removal of urban runoff pollutants. Upon completion of the rehabilitation, the area of open water would be expanded from 45.05 acres to 48.8 acres and create approximately 640 acre-feet of storage.
