Document Description
The proposed project is the widening of Prospect Avenue between Cuyamaca Street on the west and Magnolia Avenue on the east, a distance of approximately one mile. A four-lane road with bicycle lanes, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and a right-of-way and the undergrounding of utilities. The purpose of the project is to provide an alternative corridorfor traffic from SR52 in order to relieve congestion on Mission Gorge Road. This project implements the Circulation Element of the Santee General Plan.
