Document Description
1) An amendment to the Monterey County General Plan and Area Plans changing existing policy 26.1.4.3 regarding the timing of required proof of water services to future development contained in a proposed tentative subdivision map application. The change addresses timing of the requirement. Currently proof of water services for a proposed tentative map is required as a finding to be made with evidence at the time the tentative map is approved. The amendment would require proof of water services prior to the tentative map applicdation being accepted for processing by the Planning and Building Inspection Department, subject to review of the Director of Environmental Health. 2) A amendment to the Monterey County Subdivision Ordinance Title 19, Monterey County Code) consistent with the amendment to policy 26.1.4.3, and deleting Section 6, Preliminary Maps, from Title 19 removes an obsolete process for subdivision applications.
