Document Description
A Conditional Use Permit to construct a drilled-pier wall within the coastal bluff along the projection boundary line between the City of Solana Beach and the City of Del Mar. There are five (5) piers proposed, each to be 36 inches in diameter. One of the porposed piers will replace an existing 24-inch pier. No initial visual exposure will occur as the piers will be entirely buried; however as erosion continues, the upper portion of the piers will become exposed. the drilled piers will be designed to be a free-standing wall so that a deepening of the cove will not destabilize the Applicant's property.
