The requested Major use Permit is for a 37 acre paintball team sport park where teams attempt to capture each other's flags and render opposing team members ineligible by tagging them with a gelatin capsule filled with pigment launched from a paintball marker device. Hours of operation will be from 8:00 AM to sundown every day. The property will be divided into game fields, of which three will be in use at any time. Employees will include two regular employees and two referees per field, for a total of eight. The total numbers of participants will not exceed 150 per day, The unpaved parking/staging area will accommodate approximately 40 cars. Two chemical toilets with sinks will be located adjacent ot the exit driveway. A non-permanent metal storage container, not to exceed 320 square feet, will be located in the staging/ parking area and will be used for storage, adminstrative purposes, and the sale of pre-packaged snacks, sodas, and bottled water. No permanent structures are proposed. The playing fields will be located in the central area of the property with roped buffer areas on the property lines (200' on south, 100' on north and east, 25' on west). Two signs are proposed; a 4.5' by 5' sign at the intersection of San Vicente Road and Warnock Drive and a 2' by 2' sign at the driveway access off of Warnock Drive.
