Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0093-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Cantarini, LLC.
Project will build a new section of College Blvd. and a flood control detention basin between Cannon Road and El Camino Real. The new section of College Blvd will be divided four-lane public roadway incorporating a landscaped median. The new roadway will incorporate steam crossings at Little Encinas Creek immediately upstream of the box culvert. Three unnamed tributaries to Agua Hedionda Creek will cross the new section of Carlsbad Blvd through culverts installed within the roadway. The stream crossing at Agua Hedionda Creek will be a single-span bridge. Stream armoring consisting of articulating concrete block matting will be installed on the stream banks and throughout the invert of the stream at the bridge location. The project will permanently impact up to 0.84 acre of stream habitat, and will mitigate permanent impacts through the creation of 1.32 acres and enhancement within an identified 1.78 acre stream preservation area.
