Document Description
The Project involves the reclamation of Material Site 2.52 by removing asphaltic and concrete waste, re-grading slopes of aggregate piles to 3H:1V or less, decompacting and seeding the site to induce the return of Creostone scrub. The Project will result in temporary impacts to 5.5 acres of Mohave ground squirrel and desert tortoise habitat. Project-related impacts are expected to result in the take of Mohave ground squirrels and desert tortois, species protected by the California Endangered Species Act (CESA) (Fish & G. Code Sect 2050 et seq.).
