The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to reclaim an existing sand and gravel materials site north of State Route 58 at KP 201.45 (PM125.2) 20 Kilometers (12.5 mi.) east of the city of Mojave in Kern County. No permanent buildings or equipment would be constructed or stored on site. this site will not be mined; this plan is for reclamation only. A total of 4.82 ha (11.9 acres) would be reclaimed.
