The Town of Apple Valley is proposing to adopt the Entertainment Village Overlay District for the project site. The Town is proposing this to ensure the consistency of the proposed project by applying the zoning overlay on the subject property. The Silverado at Apple Valley is proposed as a regional destination entertainment center. The development would consist of a mix of uses that could include a first-run, all stadium style seating cinema megaplex, full service sit-down restaurants, research and development, bowling alley, fitness center, bank, multi-family residential uses, and other key retail elements that may include such uses as sports entertainment, a home improvement center, a department store, a neighborhood shopping center, a government center and office uses compatible with the development of a commercial regional center.
