Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) proposes to improve degraded groundwater and eliminate migration of the total dissolved solids (TDS) plume in the West San Jacinto Groundwater Basin, and recover water for beneficial uses that would otherwise be unsuitable due to high salt content. Successful implementation would provide EMWD with an additional local water supply, thus decreasing its reliance on limited and costly imported water supplies. EMWD plans to accomplish these objectives by the construction ot the following facilities: 1) 3 Million Gallon Per Day Water Production Capacity (Expandable to 6 MGD) Reverse Osmosis Desalter Facility 2) Four Extraction Wells 3) Approximately 22,000 Lineal Feet of Water Pipeline
