Document Description
The Menifee Desalter Project is intended to improve degraded groundwater and eliminate migration of the high total dissolved solids plume in the West San Jacinto Groundwater Basin, and recover water for beneficial uses that would otherwise be unsuitable due to high salt content. EMWD plans to accomplish these objectives by the construction of the following facilities: 3 MGD water production capacity (expandable to 6 MGD) reverse oasmosis desalter facility; four extraction wells; approx. 22,000 LF of water pipeline.
