Document Description
Trials riding is a sport that involves slowly riding and maneuvering a motorcycle over a variety of obstacles. This project proposes to construct a motorcycle trials area within the existing motorcross practice track facility. The project site has a gentle north to south slope and the dominant vegetation is non-native ruderal species. A chain-link divider fence will be constructed between the motorcross track and the trials area. Both rock boulders (about 20, 0.25 tons each) and fence peeler cores (about 15 feet long) will be strategically placed as obstacles within this trials area. An existing sediment basin for the motorcross track will catch any lost sediment from this trials area and annually replaced from the collected sediment.
