Document Description
The applicant proposes to divert a maximum of 20 acre feet water per annum (afa) at no greater than 0.50 cubic feet per second (cfs) from the Russian River underflow for irrigation, industrial, and domestic uses within a gross area of 42 acres. Because of river meandering, a movable point of diversion will be located between established upstream and downstream diversion points that are within a 300 foot wide strip of disturbed agricultural lands adjacent to the Russian River. A well within the upper and lower diversion points will be drilled and a line connected to the existing conveyance pipe that supplies a 10,000 gallon storage tank from which water is distributed to the vineyar, winery and residence.

1. This project will not cause significant adverse impacts on any sensitive environment and will not result in significant cumulative impacts. 2. There are no unresolved protests. 3. It appears that there is no possibility that this project may have a significant effect on the enviroonment. 4. Approval of this project is consistent with State Water Resources Contrl Board Decision 1610 that requires, in part, the maitenance of seasonal, instream flow requirements in the Russian River mainstem.
