Document Description
The applicant proposes to divert 20 acre-feet-per annum (afa) of water from an unnamed stream tributary to Sarco Creek thence Milliken Creek thence Napa River, in Napa County. Water will be diverted from an existing brick lined 10 foot deep well that is located 3 feet from the center line of the unnamed stream. Water will be pumped fro the well to by means of a submersible pump through a 300 foot 2 inch plastic pipe to a proposed 20 acre-foot offstream reservoir. The rate of diversion to storage is 0.01 cubic feet per second (cfs). Water wiil be used for irrigation, frost protection, and heat control for a proposed 15 acres of vineyard and domestic use. The season of diversion to storage is December 15 to March 31 of each year.
