Document Description
The project consists of installation of a Global Positioning System receiver on Santa Cruz Island. The GPS receiver will be installed adjacent to the existing GTE cellular repeater site on Diablo Peak, at an elevation of 2,435 feet. The GPS receiver will be powered by a 4x4 feet solar panel (four 1x4 feet) panels. The antenna is approximately 18 inches in diameter and will be mounted almost flush to the ground. The receiver will be part of the Southern Califronia Integrated GPS Network (SCIGN).
