Document Description
The project will strengthen the existing abutments, repair the cracked corners of the north abutment, strengthen and repair the base plates of the existing bearings and support on new elastomeric bearing pads, strengthen selected lower chord elements, replace selected lower lateral bracing, strengthen floor beams, and replace selected existing rivets with new high strength bolts. This project will restore a lost transportation link between the two Counties and will provide additional emergency access for residents along the two County roads in the event of a catastrophe.
