The proposed project will remove accumulated sediment, debris and vegetation from the Branciforte Creek flood control channel. Accumulated sediment has reduced the flood carrying capacity of the concrete box channel. Operations will begin late summer/early fall. Sediment will be loaded into trucks or large drop boxes and transported to the City landfill over approximately 30 days.
