Public hearing to consider a Specific Plan for the North Forty Area of the Town of Los Gatos. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a result of this project, and a Mitigated Negative Declaration is recommended.
APPLICANT: Town of Los Gatos
The Plan Area consists of approximately 40 acres which are currently predominantly in agricultural use. There are pockets of existing residential use in the Plan area primarily along Bennett Way and Burton Road. The North Forty Specific Plan area is envisioned to be a comprehensively planned and developed commercial mixed use facility with destination retail of local and subregional importance. The Plan would allow the conversion of the existing Plan area land uses to accommodate approximately 500,000 square feet of commercial mixed use development.
