The project is a request for: 1) a Use Permit to allow a 51-space recreational vehicle including a clubhouse and restroom / laundry room, in the Lower Andrus Island Special Planning Area (SPA); and 2) a Variance from Sacramento County Floodplain Management Ordinance relating to floodplain management: (Ordinance No. 1411) standards which require new residential construction to be elevated at least one foot above the base flood elevation, and new non-residential construction to be similarly elevated or flood-proofed within the 100-year floodplain. Located at southeast end of Andrus Island, in the Delta.
