This project consists of the issuance of a Timberland Conversion Permit for exemption from Forest Practice tree stocking requirements on 5 acres following the removal of forest growth for development of a rock quarry and processing area for forest road improvements. This is a joint project with Collins Pine Company,the Lassen National Forest, and Sierra Pacific Industries. Collins Pine Company must comply with the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act of 1975 (SMARA), specially Section 2714 (j) (1) and (2).
