Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0225-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sunset Ranchos Investors, LLC (as represented by Mr. Peter Bridges). Project consists of removing the existing ten culvert pipes from the unpaved section of University Avenue between Whitney Ranch Parkway and Ranch View Drive. The removed culvert pipes will be replaced with three 42-inch diameter culvert pipes with head and end walls. Earth embankments will be placed over the new culverts and the unpaved section of University Avenue will be paved. This project is part of a larger master planned community project, the Northwest Rocklin Annexation Area Specific Plan (AKA Whitney Ranch), which has been mostly constructed. The Whitney Ranch project has installed on-site mitigation in the form of 1.1 acres of seasonal wetland and 2.28 acres of seasonal marsh habitat within the on-site Preserve, and purchased 0.41 acres of vernal pool creation habitats credits from Wildland's Sheridan Mitigation Bank.
