Document Description
This is to advise you that Caltrans is formally initiating studies for the proposed construction of the Antelope Valley Maintenance Station in the Southwest quadrant of the Route 118/405 interchange in the Granada Hills area in the City of Los Angeles. The proposed project consists of two single story buildings with a total area of 12,600 square feet, a wash rack, fuel island, and material bins. Construction of the new facility will consolidate office and equipment space for the maintenance crews serving the freeways in the area, and will take place within Caltrans right-of-way. Preliminary environmental resource studies indicate that the resulting environmental document will be an Initial Study that is anticipated to lead to a Negative Declaration/Categorical Exclusion (ND/CE).
