Document Description
The proposed project entails the implementation of the Village Expansion Area Specific Plan, which is intended to serve as the long-term development plan for the area, as well as the applicable zoning; that is, a general plan amendment and zone change will occur concurrently with the adoption of the Specific Plan (SP). Implementation of the Specific Plan will replace the existing uses within the project boundaries with commercial/retail, office, and housing uses. The SP area will be redesignated from its current general plan land use to a new land use designation (e.g., Village Mixed Use). With respect to the zoning change for the SP area, existing zoning designations will be changed to the zoning category SP#8.
