Document Description
The proposed project consists of construction of a new pipeline to transmit reclaimed wastewater to two sites for use as irrigation supply. The reclaimed water is supplied by the Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency (MRWPCA) as part of the Castroville Seawater Intrusion Project and the Salinas Valley Reclamation Project (SVRP) to provide agricultural users with recycled water and reduce use of groundwater in the Salinas Valley. The SVRP began production of Tertiary-treated water for distribution to local agricultural users in spring 1998.
