The Pasadena Bicycle master Plan was prepared in response to the city's General Plan Mobility Element. The Mobility Element called for the development of a city-wide bikeway system to increase the use of bicycling and walking throughout the City. Implementation of the Bike Plan is intended to improve safety for bicyclists as well as promote an alternative means of transportation for the City's citizen base. While improving overall mobility throughout the city.
