Document Description
The Port of Long Beach, in conjunction with the California Department of Transportation, is proposing to construct a new traffic interchange on Ocean Boulevard at the southern end of the Terminal Island (TI) Freeway. The proposed project entails a compact "split-diamond" interchange comprising the grade separation of Ocean Boulevard at Henry Ford and the TI Freeway, and a combined ramp and one-way frontage road system for turning traffic and local access. Ocean Boulevard and the easterly ramps would be elevated east of the TI Freeway to provide access between Piers S and T.
