Document Description
Environmental assessment of the potential impacts associated with acquisition of property for an active sports park. Negative Declaration 1601-99 was originally prepared on the basis of a conceptual site plan representing the maximum intensity to which the 15+/- site could be developed, and was approved by the City Council on July 13, 1999. The Subsequent Negative Declaration addresses an expanded site of 42.6+/- acres, again based on a maximum intensity conceptual plan, that includes a total of seven soccer fields, three baseball fields, field night-lighting, a 23,000 square foot community center, a 23,000 square foot gymnasium, a tot lot playground area, landscape and picnic areas, restroom/concession building and approximately 700 parking spaces.
