DTSC is proposing to approve a Remedial Action Plan for the Taylor Yard-South Pacific Site (Parcel G-2) pursuant to the requirements of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA); the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) in Title 40 of the Code project consists of the following six remedial activities: 1) data gaps investigation; 2) demolition; 3) shallow soil removal; 4) site restoration; 5) installation of vadose zone and groundwater wells; and 6) operation and maintenance of remediation systems and groundwater monitoring.
