Document Description
The Department of General Services, Office of Fleet Administration, is proposing to lease approximately 10,602 square feet of existing space to replace the San Diego State garage which was housed at 345 W. Ash Street in San Diego; this includes approximately 3,342 square feet of office/administrative space and 7,260 square feet for storage/auto shop use. The site would have 6 staff. The most recent use at the proposed site was for inspecting vehicles for insurance purposes. New uses at the proposed site would include minor automotive repairs and a car wash. Approximately 130 parking spaces would be used for fleet vehicles and staff parking. The lessor will be responsible for any modifications and for permits/approvals related to improvements to the site.
