Document Description
Application grant under the federal Recreational Trails Program (RTP) trail maintenance and repair related work at the Mammoth Bar Off Highway Vehicle Area. RTP fund will be used to groom and repair existing single and double track trail, maintain the existing park entrance road with a single chip coat of 85,000 square feet, provide two new picnic tables and one new chemical toilet, partially fund a resource ecologist related position to monitor soils and wildlife conditions, perform about 15,000 square feet of trail edge restoration and rehabilitation, replacement of road base at the end of the park entrance road and staging area, and the replacement of a three foot oval culvert on the Ranch Trail.
