Document Description
The Department of Mental Health proposes to replace and relocate the main entrance and guard station of Metropolitan State Hospital from Norwalk Blvd. to the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and North Circle Drive. A traffic signal would be installed at the new entrance. The need for a traffic signal at this intersection has been agreed upon by DMH, Metro State Hospital, the City of Norwalk, and the City of Santa Fe Springs. The entrance would have a 4-lane entry with separate lanes for staff and visitors.
