Document Description
To rehabilitate the pavement with PCC overlay for the roadway; AC overlay at the ramps; widen shoulders; rehab approximately 80 culverts; remove metal-beam guardrail and install median concrete barriers. Install changeable message signs and 2 closed-circuit television cameras; upgrade 16 overhead signs and add an auxiliary lane to the truck arrestor facility at the Whitmore Maintenance Station.. Replace ballast. No new right-of-way. The improvements to this heavily traveled roadway will benefit the motoring public in general, recreational tourism and interstate commerce.
