Document Description
The CCSB was rebuilt by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in cooperation with the Reclamation Board by a project completed 1993. That required construction of a new intake channel and levees. Since then the area has been subject to several floods, including large events in 1994, 1995, 1997, and 1998. These deposited considerable sediment and caused a very dense young-growth riparian forest to establish within the channel.
